School of Social Sciences Brown Bag Lecture Series

Join us for another School of Social Sciences Brown Bag lecture on Monday, March 15th at 12 pm with Amy Kittelstrom, Professor of History, who will be discussing her recent research, Baldwin's Books.

Dr. Kittelstrom's talk explores the books of James Baldwin: what he read, what he wrote, and what he helped make possible. Questions of cultural delineation and the construction of race, gender and sexuality are prominent not only in what Baldwin wrote but also in the Black literary tradition behind him and the Anglo-American and European works he made his own.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020-2021 Brown Bag Series will take place via Zoom. Please join us: https://SonomaState.zoom.us/j/85447451202

The School of Social Sciences Brown Bag Series is always free, open to faculty, staff, students, and the public, and provides a congenial interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of recent research by School of Social Sciences faculty.
