Dr Karin Jaffe, Professor of Anthropology and Associate Dean of the School of Social Sciences will lead the last Faculty Exchange of the semester.
During her presentation, "Enhancing Communication in (Asynchronous) Online Classes: Discussion Boards as Signature Assignments in General Education" Karin will use discussion board assignments from her CSU-QLT certified course, ANTH 318: Human Development in Evolutionary Perspective (GE-UDB) to generate a dialogue on the use of discussion boards as signature assignments to elicit strong student demonstration of GE learning outcomes.
