The mission of SASSy is to provide students with a forum to develop, present, discuss, and gain feedback on social science research related to issues of social justice, broadly conceived. SASSy fulfills this mission by hosting a formal conference that incorporates students, faculty and community members’ voices and provides opportunities for students to practice skills in research presentation, oral communication, and intellectual dialogue.
