History Professor Discusses Colonies of Wine in the Vodka Empire in New Book

History Professor Stephen Bittner's book, Whites and Reds: A History of Wine in the Lands of Tsar and Commissar (Oxford) was published in February 2021. Bittner's book has since been reviewed by the Times Literary Supplement and excerpted in the Moscow Times. Bittner has appeared as a guest to discuss his book on a number of podcasts, including New Books Network and Wine through Time.
