Publication Proposes New Model For Understanding Diverse Couple's Marital Adjustment

Check out Dr. Teresa Nguyen's new publication co-authored with Drs. Ross, Karney, and Bradbury. Their results, published in Frontiers of Psychology (Impact Factor: 4.2), show that economic vulnerability and chronic stress shape relationship satisfaction independently of couple communication quality; an important correction to previous relationship satisfaction models based on results from mostly White middle class couples. Dr. Nguyen is an Assistant Professor of Psychology.
