Brown Bag Lecture - Cecile Bhang

Dr. Cecile Bhang will present her research, The Career Indecision Profile: Measurement Equivalence in a Korean American Sample.

This study on Korean American and career development aimed to test both the four and five factor models of career indecision in order to (a) explore measurement equivalence across American and Korean samples, (b) better understand Korean Americans' career development and career decision-making difficulties, and (c) enhance empirical and clinical knowledge around this crucial developmental task for Korean Americans in order to better serve this sizable and consistently growing population. The purpose, process, results and the implications will be shared during the Talk. 

Dr. Cecile Hye Won Bhang is a Assistant Professor in the Counseling department. Her research focuses on resilience, career/academic concerns in ethnic/racial minority, immigrant communities. 

The School of Social Sciences Brown Bag Series is always free, open to faculty, staff, students, and the public, and provides a congenial interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of recent research by School of Social Sciences faculty. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022-2023 Brown Bag Series will take place via Zoom.
