Sarah Eagan, a SSU Psychology alum who graduated in 2012, will be completing her Ph.D. in Social and Cognitive Psychology, with a concentration in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln this summer. She has accepted a tenure-track assistant professor position at Worcester State University starting in Fall 2022. Sarah credits her time at SSU for why she sought to pursue a career at a liberal arts university, "The sense of community at a smaller liberal arts university gave me opportunities that I would not have has access to at a larger institution. I am elated to be joining a university where I will be able to provide my students that same individualized attention I was able to receive at SSU." Sarah is very excited to be taking the next step in her career and moving to her new home in Massachusetts.

Congrats Sarah!
